Piedras Blancas Lighthouse.

And so, I took some time off. This is oil on board from California's central coast along the Pacific Coast highway, the lighthouse from 1875 and still functioning. While showing my parents around California this summer, it turned out that I was shown all this profound beauty that was missing within the walls of university, not to complain about education, anyone! Soon more to come!

  1. This is beautiful, beautiful and beautiful...

The lighthouse is a very old. 1875?... And still working? Unbelievable. And that is so wonderful that your parents came to see you. I can imagine how happy they were.

If I understood correctly this painting was done in oil on board. That is amazing. Some artist prefer to work in this way. The result of your inspiration is fantastic. Love this painting very much.

    Greetings from Kaya.

  2. Hi Kaya, thank you =) Yes, great times with parents! Aha, oil on board, I prefer to work this way recently. After priming the board, oil paint stays right on the almost glossy surface without sipping in. I like that. Thanks for stopping by, best for your summer days still to come!
